Graduate Sales Trainee – Critical Comms Solutions (171lw) – Elstree (& field based as required)– Circa £25-26k + Uncapped Commission, + Benefits.

Our client paves the way for innovative communication technology and critical alert software solutions. Trusted experts for over 25 years, they supply multiple sectors including hospitality, retail, industry, leisure, education, healthcare, and the luxury market.
They work directly with end-users and via a reseller partner network across the world. They provide pioneering on-site solutions including paging systems, two-way radios, critical alarms, call button solutions and messaging and alarm monitoring software.
About the Role:
You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director and Senior Account Manager to learn the products, systems and solutions offered, and how to develop new business opportunities to sell them. The structured training program includes time spent with each relevant department to really get to grips with products (Technical, Production, Customer Service, Field Installation), as well as shadowing/accompanying the salespeople on client visits, trade shows and project installations.
You will prospect from a comprehensive database, respond to marketing leads, and source prospects from LinkedIn and other research. You will learn how to prepare quotes, make alterations to original plans, upsell client’s range and promote upgrades where indicated.
You’ll need excellent research skills, which you’ll need to understand the industry and target markets, and in identifying prospective clients and key contacts.
You’ll need a minimum of one year’s experience of sales – preferably with tech or product sales, rather than sales of a service.

Ideally, you’ll have a degree in a technology or engineering field (radio communications would be a plus!), but our client will also consider a degree in another discipline if you have a demonstrable interest and ability to develop your technical knowledge of their products.

Sales Graduate Requirements:
· Educated to degree level
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and exceptional interpersonal skills
· Comfortable working in target driven environment
· Confident and adaptable
· Self-motivated and ambitious
· Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
Sales Graduate Package:
· Starting salary of £25,000 – £27,000 per year, plus commission
