First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Product & Application Trainer.

Provide product training, sales and customer support to new and existing customers for clinical products in UK healthcare establishments, in accordance with Company procedures and standards

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform post installation user training to new and existing customers.
Ensure that customers and end users are proficient in the use of endoscopic products in accordance with procedures and standards as defined by the Instructions-for-use and other responsible members of the company as required.
Prepare end users with product introduction and work with staff to plan, develop and conduct an effective training and support programme if required.
Select or develop teaching aids such as handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as those concerned with employee orientation and on the job training.
Provide refresher training, development and retraining.
Maintain a personal programme of continuous professional development with respect to new products, techniques and technologies and report findings as necessary.
Ensure all customer training documents are completed and passed to the Companies Training department as per the Official Customer Training procedure.
Look after and be responsible for all company equipment (including documents) which is made available to you. Including ensuring company vehicle is always in suitable condition to accommodate customers or other passengers where necessary on visits.
Observe the required technical standards as prescribed.
Administration and reporting as necessary.
Attend relevant training courses in the UK and abroad as required, and carry out personal study to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Skills and Qualifications:

Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) is required.
Experience of an operating theatre environment is beneficial.
Nurse diploma or medical engineering background is beneficial. (Other disciplines will be considered depending on experience and expertise.)
Nonclinical experience will be considered, but evidence of transferable skills relevant to the role would be required.
Experience of success in a team environment.
Experience of dealing with customers/general public in a sales or service based role.
Proven record of organising their/other people’s time and resource.
A good level of written English, able to communicate clearly and effectively via written media (email) and verbally.
An understanding of computer systems (both hardware and software) would be advantageous.
Must have good language and writing skills to accurately complete the necessary reports etc.
IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Prior clinical support experience preferred with direct experience in customer interactions and presentations.
Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational skills and the ability to exercise effective judgment and sensitivity to changing needs.
Must be able to deal calmly with challenging situations have a polite, respectful and courteous manner regardless of the situation, good English in verbal and written communication with the ability to balance conflicting demands.
A proactive communicator who is willing to take responsibility of challenging situations and work with team colleagues to find solutions.
Willingness to go the extra mile at busy times and be able to work alone whilst part of a team.
PowerPoint presentation skills preferable to effective delivery of training information.
Must have good language and writing skills to enable the accurate completion of training document and reports.

£7,500 for OTE.
Management Bonus Objectives.
