Forestry Ground Workers

Hi,

I am a veteran Sapper (’79 – ’86), now Projects Director for a Forest establishment and management Company.

Do you fancy a change, work in the clean, fresh air; different office view every day. Are you prepared to live away from home, work up to a 6-day week? Most amazing scenery in europe.

Locations: Kintyre, Lorne, Appin, Morvern, Ardnamurchan, Glen Nevis, Isle of Mull, Isle of Skye, Isle of Colonsay, Isle of Islay, Isle of Jura.

We require

• Planters
• Weeders and thinners (plantations)
• Invasive species operatives.

If you have Chainsaw, Clearing saw or spraying qualifications even better.

Require:

• Own transport
• Good work ethic
• Honest
• Work on own initiative
• Team player

(Own accommodation, bonus but not essential)

As a guide, once trained you can make between £840 -£900 for a 6 day week planting

Regen clearance work, based on hectarage rate £960 for a 6 day week. (clearing saw/ chainsaw).
